DONE! :)
We now support multiple words (comma separated) in both "Include" and "Exclude" fields ;)

Tim Soulo: I've since tried using the tool again, but I'm not certain you've addressed my request to mark this as complete. When using the Keyword Explorer and using the Include/Exclude filters. Is it now possible to change the match type from exact to broad (hence my previous feedback around wildcard matching)?
An example scenario is I'm looking for all the top hairdressing keywords in Leicester. Leicester is the keyword I'm analysing. I then wish to include the word hair to match 'hair', 'hairdresser', hairdressers' etc – anything with the word hair in.
Tim Soulo
David Effect: hey David.. unfortunately a search for "hair
" or "
dresser" is something that we don't plan to support. Devs say that such a request would be too "heavy" for our database. So we advice users to use existing filters to limit the amount of results and export them to apply any additional filtersD

Tim Soulo: Hey Tim, I'm sorry to hear that it's not going to be possible to filter Ahrefs data as I desire, when working with the front-end of the website. So, going back to my example scenario: As a work around would you agree I could first export all "Leicester" keywords to CSV. Then follow up by querying the data offline in Excel on my own machine, to filter out those keywords with an additional word within the full query string that includes 'hair' with a wildcard match type. Does that logic make sense? It's not going to be as seamless, but if it works, it works!

Tim Soulo: Before the update I could put the following filter in the include field: club, flyer and the results would show me all the keywords that contained BOTH club and flyer regardless of the order those keywords came in (example: Club Flyer, Flyer Club, Book Club Flyer, Club Book Flyer). Now, after your update, that same action gives me a list of keywords that include ANY of the keywords in my filter... So that means I see club, club flyers, flyers, spanish flyers, random flyers etc...
I love how Ahrefs listens to the community, so hopefully you understand that in putting this update out there you actually took away something that was working. I see the use case you built it for, so maybe you can support "+" so that we can still say "Show me any keyword combination that contains Club + Flyer regardless of if the two keywords are in that order or not. This is how it functioned for me for months, so unfortunately that has been taken away.
Then finally, you merged my ticket into this one and in the update you didn't address my feedback. I mentioned that you should allow the keywords placed in the include or exclude field to function as a true "Contains" filter, so that if I include Flyer I also see Flyer(s) keywords.
Love the product, love the company. Thanks!

Dustin Hodgson: hey Dusting.. Sorry for "breaking" what was working before.. But using ALL/ANY in include/exclude filter is now regarded as a new feature request. Please submit it separately and post the link in FB group.. let's see if many people need that
Dustin Hodgson
Tim Soulo: There are ways to get the data, so not "broken" just an additional step that wasn't needed before. I'll share it with the community and see what people think. Thanks Tim!

Came here to suggest this, but I already see there's a huge interest :)

just what the commenters said. to be able to include multiple keywords in a filter and/or exclude results that contain a certain keyword
Jessica Klassen
Would like to be able to filter keywords to see those which contain ie. "word1" OR "word2" OR "word3".
Similarly, would be great if we could filter keywords to see those which DO NOT contain ie. "word1" OR "word2" OR "word3".

Advanced Search (negate search)

Many times I need to negate the search of one keyword to "list all keywords but one or two", you should implement a "syntax" search like google:
i.e.: "build -online store" (search for all keywords with build and store but not with online).
For the same price (its not complicated because it's translate to SQL query very easy) you can even go further and allow searches like this:
i.e:"build OR create AND store NOT online"
