Tim Soulo - Seems like you could use the Parent Keywords to facilitate this to some extent. It wouldn’t be quite the same as the grouping SEMrush has but it’d be a great addition.
Noticed this has been here for a few years — maybe you’ll add that new feature on Monday haha.

Agreed. The keyword magic tool is the only thing keeping me at SEMrush. I've trialed Ahrefs and there is much you do better than them, but this tool of theirs makes keyword research infinitely easier and faster to do. If you had this I'd cancel my SEMrush subscription and move over to you.

Keyword Magic Tool in Semrush makes keywords groups, counted by number of keywords or number of searches (volumes).
You can see it in the column on the left. This is very very useful and time saving.

In this screenshot I clicked on "recipe" group and I can see all the keywords in this group, that has the word "recipe" in the phrase.

- master KWs...
I do this work manually these days - a REAL pain! :(
And prompt to so many errors, not even funny :(
