It would completely remove the need to have an SEMrush subscription if you implement it!

This would be highly useful for both agencies and in-house teams.
Currently we having to snapshot the data each month and store it in our own database for historical recall.
This is an okay workaround but not ideal as it doesn’t give us the historical data from before we began storing it.

Historic Search Volume Data

Hi there,
it would be really great, if we would have the ability to get historic search volume data. It could be used for a multiple things as checking brand searches, development of certain keywords and seasonality.
What do you think?
Best,

Agree. I use this feature in SEMRush often to diagnose large scale rank changes over time. Most often year-over-year, but time frame can vary. This is the
only
reason I still have an SEMRush subscription.N

It will also be great to see completely new keywords a page is ranking for. Right now if a keyword is "lost" and enters the SERP again, it just shows as new keyword when in fact it's not a completely new keyword. It's hard to keep track of these lost ones especially when they are important keywords. Hope that makes sense.

We would like to
COMPARE
organic traffic today:
which keywords or landingpages does it come from
WITH
organic traffic -120 days [OR SELECT DATE RANGE]:
which keywords or landingpages does it come from
IN SHORT: how has our traffic shifted in subject over time?
Stan Tyan
This is such a pain to get the organic keywords rankings volume for a specific date. Please either add a CSV export for this data or make it possible to pick a date range!
