Ahrefs’ AI bot tracking currently relies on Cloudflare log data, which means sites hosted on platforms such as Netlify can’t use the feature.

We use Netlify and would like to be able to connect Netlify server/CDN logs to Ahrefs so we can track crawls from AI bots such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended in the same way Cloudflare users can.

Netlify supports log drains, so ideally Ahrefs could support a direct Netlify integration or provide a way to ingest/export Netlify log data into the AI bot tracking report.

This would make the feature much more useful for modern headless/SSR sites that aren’t using Cloudflare.
