Shares vs Total Followers
Today, the Content Explorer shows the total number of social shares on each platform (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest).
The value of this feature is to see which content is the most successful for a given topic.
The challenge is that the total number of shares could be a function of the number of followers a publisher has, rather than as a function of how great the content is.
Show a shares to followers ratio. Eg 2.2 shares per follower. Enable results to be sorted by order of highest to lowest shares per follower ratio.
This would show the intrinsic value of content based on the perception of the audience, rather than the number of followers a publisher has on each platform.
