"We couldn’t find data" for keywords with global search volume?
Ludvig Larsson
There is a big issue when researching global search volumes.
A list of keywords can result in "We couldn’t find data" with United States as country. When changing country to UK, the same list returns local and global search volumes.
Please include keywords in the list with no local volume/data, which have global search volume.
Or, as other have suggested, an option to select "Global" instead of a specific country.

Search keywords globally

I know the global search volume was added to the search results page, but this isn't yet an option to search for keywords for (as opposed to having to select a country). Considering how many keywords I miss because the search results page doesn't show all of the search results, this should just be an option to search for.

[WANTED] Language-based International Global Search Volume
G
GDPR GDPR
Please add global search volume in the list!
A lot of businesses are international and are searching for GLOBAL search volume.
Also it will be nice if you can see search volume GLOBALLY by language - for example English globally that would take English searches from Singapore, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK etc etc
Or English searches from Germany
or French searches from Canada + France.

В идеале чтоб можно было выбрать несколько стран (англоязычных)...

Did you mean this?

Nathan Veenstra: Yes
Nathan Veenstra
vijay abbc: In that case, it's in progress ;-)

Nathan Veenstra: No, he didn't mean that. Guy was clearly talking about global volume added to country selector list. That's different from the column.
If you add a keyword to search you're required to select a country. In that case Ahrefs can tell you that a keyword doesn't seem popular or has low search volume and will not display it in the list nor it will give you the global volume for it.
One keyword may be unpopular in USA but highly popular in other country. Sadly, this issue is known only to people who do international keyword research.

Goran Tepsic: what you mean is that it would be nice to have an option for 'Global' instead of a particular country when starting the keyword research?
BTW: did you know that you can switch countries once you have run a keyword research for a particular country? So you can get your global search volume that way, but it means you have to take some manual action.
Goran Tepsic
Nathan Veenstra: Hey Nathan, correctly.
Also, I do know I can change the country and it's a workaround for 2-3, not 30-40.
Also, keyword list picks belong to a single exported document, not individual ones for each country.
All I'm saying it, it would be an amazing usability fix for Intl SEOs.
