Being able to make keywords lists without pulling metrics

I got the bad surprise to use 100 keyword credits while creating a new list. This is especially painful when you have the lite plan.

An option to create list without pulling metrics will be welcome and will alow us to avoid repetitions of keywords on the Excel file.

The way KE spends your credits has changed. The logic is as follows:

Creating a list and adding keywords along using New List form costs 1 credit.
Adding your own keywords to an existing list using Add Keywords form costs 1 credit.
Adding keywords to a list from internal reports is free.
Opening any existing list is always free.

Please note that for #1 and #2 the number of keywords that you add doesn't matter. Whether you add 1 or 100 keywords it will cost 1 credit. So we recommend to do bulk adding

Yes I have the exact same problem. Was surprised that my keyword credits got eaten up because I created a list of 100 keywords, even though I only entered 1 keyword into the Keywords Analyzer tool. Other keyword tools are much easier to select keywords with checkboxes and then export only those keywords.

Although I don't experience this issue because I'm on Advanced, I understand the need for this, so I will upvote. Also because I understand it can save unnecessary pulling of data for Ahrefs.
