We just added a new Target filter to Keyword Ideas reports. It allows you to check ranking positions for any target URL within KE.

I just want to see if my site already ranks for a keyword in keyword explorer. This could be shown in a new column, or there could be a filter option: exclude keywords a project ranks for. Currently, I need to manually enter the keywords in to a separate window with Site Explorer pulled up.
When my site was smaller, this wasn't a problem, but now we rank for lots of keywords. Also, I often "Content Gap" because the keywords we rank for are automatically excluded.

Flag keywords your domain is already ranking for

Add a feature to Keywords Explorer that marks or tags each keyword a chosen domain is already ranking for on page 1-2 of a search engine. This would enable SEOs to select new keyword opportunities without having to check against their domain's current rankings in a separate window.
Similar idea proposed here:

Filter by keywords that have X site with a top ranking

One of the most effective ways to tell how hard it will be to rank well for a keyword is when certain sites are topping the ranking.
The best examples in most niches are when sites like reddit or quora are number 1-3, you have a very decent shot of getting somewhere with a good piece of content.
With that said, it would be an amazing feature-add if a filter like "X website ranks in top Y position/s" where X and Y can be controlled by the end user for a phrase match search or list of keywords - As far as I know this isn't possible with existing SEO tools.

When I'm looking for new keywords to target it's exhausting to manually enter them into the filter for the site organic keyword report to see if we're already ranking for them. I'd like to know immediately if we're already ranking for a KW during research so I can quickly identify new opportunities.

Specify a domain (or domains) in keyword explorer to filter out (or include) keywords that the specified domain ranks for. This filter option could also allow you to filer for the domain if it ranks between a specific position in SERPS (for example, only show keywords where specified domain does not rank in top 1-3 positions. etc)

As a site owner looking to expand / find new keywords opportunities, i'd like to see which keywords i'm already ranking for directly from the Keywords Explorer.
You could display a Number -> Best position for this KK.
When browsing tons of keywords to find gems it is really annoying to see a keyword and wonder if you've already written an article about it / select it to write a content and discover later that you have a page which is doing well for the keyword (and just need a little update).

Seconding this one. It's so frustrating to have to open up another tab (or several) and flick back and forth between them to find out the info. Or I have to type it out manually to refer back to it w/ ease.
