I used Link Redirect Trace (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/link-redirect-trace/nnpljppamoaalgkieeciijbcccohlpoh?hl=en) to see at a glance (the extension badge) if there's a redirect.
Then I used META SEO Inspector (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/meta-seo-inspector/ibkclpciafdglkjkcibmohobjkcfkaef) to just as easily check the number of SEO issues on the page.
In Ahrefs, I would ideally have this:
  • For non HTTP 200 status codes, show the status code in the badge, colored red
  • If there are issues on the page (currently displayed on click of the extension badge), show the number of issues in yellow
  • If there are no issues, show the domain rating in purple (current behavior)
Or ideally, this should be configurable and you should be able to select whether to always show one of those 3, or "Auto" mode which does what I've described above.
This feature would reaaaaally take this extension to another level. I really want to be able to see the key parts at a glance, without having to click the badge. I already know the DR of my site… I don't need it displayed on every page. It's useless.
