Is it possible to add functionality that allows a user to search from a particular country/region/city. etc?

I’m not sure Ahrefs has the ability to do this. Even their internal keyword results mess this up a lot for queries whenever local intent is involved.
You can use a plugin like GS Location Changer to set your location before you search if you want the results to be specific to a location.
