Hi there, this is Jade from Emergency Lights Co. First off, your Site Audit is already incredible, great work!
One feature that would significantly improve usability is the ability to analyze "In Content" links directly within the Site Audit. Specifically, we need a way to exclude header and footer links. I know this functionality exists in Site Explorer, but having it available in the Audit tool would be extremely helpful, especially since the data there is practically live.
Site Explorer is fantastic, but waiting for crawl updates delays our workflow. In contrast, Site Audit is near real-time, making it perfect for analyzing internal link placements as we optimize pages.
Right now, we’re working around this by exporting the data and using AI to identify “in content” links with specific logic. It works, but it’s far from efficient. Adding a filter or flag for “In Content” links would make a huge difference for content-heavy sites like ours.
Thanks for considering it!
