Ignore symbols that Google also ignores
Angie
For example, "spider-man" and "spider man" are counted as two keywords in Ahrefs but it should really just be "spider man" since Google ignores the hyphen. This also creates an issue in Rank Tracker because you either have to choose one variation or use up another keyword to track both variations. Would be really grateful if this was resolved - thank you Ahrefs!

Not really Angie, if you make a search for "spider-man" and "spider man" or even "spiderman" you will see always small, sometime subtle differences in the SERPs. The deeper you go even more (2nd page, 3rd, etc). Meaning that: Google treats them differently! If your statement is based in Keyword Planner - that that tool with a grain of salt as they hide a lot of information or decide to show whatever they want. The fact that a SERPs reacts differently to an hiphen is the proof they also see the search query differently. In some situations (curiously with spiderman) I've seen pages that are are not even in the first page for the non-hyphen version for example.
