I think Ahrefs is the best SEO tool out there but a start up pricing of about 15$ a month should be implemented. This plan should give full access to all tools but of cause you will limit usage.
Many small businesses already spend around this amount on those group pricing software with a lot of tools we don't need. We don't mind spending this on Ahrefs as this is legit and with time as our agencies grow we can easily do $100 peer month.
You guys are smart and I'm sure you've considered this already. Would be great to know why you are not doing this already so I can give you more reason why you should😁

AWT is helpful but bloggers and website owners still need access to advanced features like the keyword explorer. Ahrefs should start an affordable plan for beginners who wouldn't mind paying what they can afford. Presently, my website www.seocontentwriter.in is unable to pay the costly retainer and $7 trial is not enough.

I am also an aspiring blogger, but can in no way justify spending $100/month while my business isn't generating income. I just finished using the $7 trial, and really loved the tool, as well as some of the tutorial videos! I would 100% pay somewhere around $10/mo to be able to have full access to only the Keywords Explorer feature to continue research. In the meantime, I am going to try to find a cheaper option with another company. Please consider lower cost options for the folks trying to start something up!

In Turkey, $99 monthly pricing is very expensive because of USD/TRY exchange rate. $1 equals to 7,38 TRY today. $99 equal to 730 TRY. Just for the sake of comparison you can buy 27 BigMac Menu (which is 26.99 TRY) from McDonald's with that money.
I have another example from Steam to make things more clear. Steam uses fixed rate (1 USD=2,1TRY) to calculate game prices in Turkey, because exchange rates and purchasing power are different things.
We have money, I am not begging you to give me completely free service. I am ready to pay, but not in US Dollars, instead local currencies with local pricing.

Tim Soulo: There are a lot of great features in the free plan! But what a lot of these suggestions were asking for was a plan where projects, keyword research and tracking were still available, just limited. Something between the free plan and the $99 plan. That would be exceptional and so appreciated. :-)

I'm from Brasil. 99USD are like almost 50% of the minimum wage over here :)
American companies need to think globally :) Adapt their price list to each market. Purchasing power is different in each country.
