Competitors from dashboard view never carry into gap tools! STUPID.

I should only have to manually input competitors ONCE. Why in the hell are we paying this much and then for every gap / competitor analysis we have to re-enter???? Also, why are the 'top organic competitors' always so stupid, inaccurate, and not pulling from the list either???

Hi Keaton, thanks for the feedback!
You're right — the Dashboard doesn't currently open gap reports pre-filled with project competitors.
Here's a way to avoid re-entering competitors in Competitive Analysis:
— Open https://app.ahrefs.com/competitive-analysis
— Click the target field
— Pick a project from the dropdown
— The project and its competitors will load into the form
You can also pull in top organic competitors there:
— Enter your target
— Click a competitor field
— Pick one of the top 5 from the dropdown to add it
We're working on better competitor workflows in general, but hope this helps for now.
