Filter by Canonical Tag

Due to the potential for sites to use cross domain canonical tags per https://www.billhartzer.com/seo/undetectable-negative-seo-attack-uncovered/ I would like to request the ability to filter by canonical tags from external sites. I found this one for example in my "new" links. They scraped our whole site and canonicalized to our domain in what appears to be one of the many negative seo campaigns we have faced this year. Thank you

I would even plead for excluding links from canonical URLs by default.
A practical example:
In the Netherlands there's a publisher with around 200 domains, where they publish articles, press releases and news items. In many cases they will publish an article on all of their domains, while canonicalising the URL to one specific URL.
This means that only that specific link would be counted by search engines, and the rest are pretty much useless, at least for SEO purposes. They are just stacking up in the link overviews and could be left out as far as I'm concerned. Saves some data storage (as little as it is, it does save data storage) and saves us time to filter out links that do not add actual value.
