For example, say I manage Jim1, Jim2 and Jim3, each with his own FB/IG/X profiles. I shouldn't have to select every single profile individually every time I want to share as a different person. I should select "Jim1" and immediately cross-post to Jim1's social channels.

This costs most of my time when using SMM.
Another use case for everyone is to share different kind of media. Some platforms favor text and image, others video.
For example, i could create a group of social platforms for sharing text only posts and another group for video.

This is also helpful for people like me who manage multilingual profiles. Someone who posts in English and Spanish needs to untick/tick every single profile each time they post in a different language, risking missing a social profile each time. This shouldn't be too hard to implement; just need to group social profiles into "sets" or "groups" similar to Typefully.
