API usage on lite membership. I hardly use ahrefs manually now that claude code is runnning the show. I find the API limit is way too low and honestly I would much rather other features were more limited considering how everything has changed recently with AI. I maxed my API within 6-7 days and I wasn't doing any heavy tasks. To pay another 100€ for a bit more API is not good value for money, so I'm reviewing my options right now.

I noticed that API keys expire without any prior notification. It would be beneficial to receive an email notification before the API key expires, so I can take necessary actions in advance. This would help in avoiding any disruptions in service due to expired keys.

I need to perform content gap analysis, but currently, your API does not support this feature. It seems inconsistent that automation is allowed through the API for other needs but not for content analysis. It would be beneficial if the API could support content gap analysis, allowing me to access this data programmatically.

I need a way to get only the total count of linked domains via the API, without having to request the full list of linked domains. This would streamline my process and make it more efficient.

The API endpoint https://api.ahrefs.com/v3/site-explorer/linked-anchors-external returns each anchor one by one, however, it is impossible to get a total count of outgoing external anchors.

I need a way to get the count of all anchors containing a specific phrase, like 'casino', without retrieving the actual rows. This would help reduce costs significantly when dealing with large datasets. Currently, the API charges based on the number of rows returned, which can be expensive at scale. A count-only option would be a valuable addition to the API.

Could you think about developing a service to help with removing links in Google Webmaster?

Would be great to get the total amount of pages + total traffic when using the top pages in the API/MCP, in order to get a similar experience as the UI (attached). The idea is to be able to quickly retrieve total traffic numbers for a specific section of the site, based on a given URL or keyword filter (example total blog traffic, without getting all blog pages and summing them up).

Would be useful to have a limit parameter for the metrics by country in the API/MCP, in order to avoid having to use something like 50 rows when looking for the top 5 countries. Additionally, having the output include a traffic share field, in addition to the raw traffic values, would provide a fast way to assess country distribution, similar to the UI (and especially helpful with a limit parameter).
