Social Media

Posting via web browsers on mobile is challenging. Notice the “save draft” or the “publish” buttons overlap the other buttons at the bottom right corner making it unusable.

Today SMM only supports single tweets on X. That makes the tool effectively unusable for any X content strategy that relies on threads, which is most of B2B founder-led X (story arcs, breakdowns, lessons learned, launch announcements). I have to leave SMM and post threads manually in the native X composer. Let me draft a multi-tweet thread inside the SMM composer and have it publish as a real X thread (each tweet replying to the previous one). Concrete use case for me: I'd write a 6-tweet thread on Tuesday about a Featurebase product launch, with an image attached to tweets 1, 3, and 5. Schedule the whole thread for Thursday 10am. SMM would publish all six as a connected X thread. Today this is impossible without doing it natively in the X app.

Right now there's no way to categorize posts beyond status. As soon as you have 20-30 published posts, finding "everything I posted about product launches" or "all my customer stories from last quarter" becomes a manual scroll job. Labels solve this with a flexible tagging system. Let me create colored, named labels and apply multiple to any post. Labels should be filterable from Calendar, Posts list, and Analytics. Reference Ordinal's implementation ( https://docs.tryordinal.com/posts/labels ): Labels are workspace-level (all teammates share the same label set). Created in Settings → Labels (with a color picker), or inline from any post by typing a new name and clicking "Create". Apply unlimited labels per post. Filter by label everywhere: Calendar (focus on a category), Posts list (narrow down), Analytics (compare performance per category). Multiple-label filters use AND logic. Concrete use case for me: I'd label posts by topic ("Product Launch", "Customer Story", "Founder POV", "Changelog") and filter Analytics by label to see which content bucket actually drives the most engagement and reach. Today there's no way to do this cleanly in SMM. Pairs well with the saved filter views request (#3) since label is one of the criteria I'd save: https://ahrefs.canny.io/social-media/p/custom-saved-filter-views-pinned-to-the-sidebar

Our default workflow is to always use a calendar view when engaging with our current social media management tool. Right now, in Ahrefs the calendar layout is only available in the Calendar tab. The Drafts and Published tabs default to a list. I'd like a calendar/list toggle on every post view so I can see drafts and published content laid out on the same visual grid as scheduled posts, color-coded by status. Concrete use case: I want to see my last 2 weeks of published posts and my next 2 weeks of scheduled posts on one calendar to spot content gaps and cadence issues. Today, this means jumping between tabs and losing the visual. I included a screenshot of how we currently have it. We love the current tool, but for convenience, we would love to switch to Ahrefs fully.

Allow clients (agencies) to add more Instagram social connection (different client brands) - best if it's via Meta's platform where you wouldn't need to get client's password access.

I added 3 accounts of FB/insta/x, and wanted to add LI and threads later on, but couldn't;t find the page from where I could have added those accounts.

There doesn't seem to be a way to fix the aspect ratio in the Ahrefs SM manager without having to crop and reupload, which is annoying. Please fix this. I am getting this error: "Instagram Business Account Image aspect ratio is too narrow".

The Social Media feature does not give me an option to delete a post. It only allows for scheduling out to the future. This is very problematic. This is very very bad.
